Presentation focus is on Australian Reptiles and Amphibians and the important role they play in our environment. This includes their basic natural history, biology, influence on indigenous art and snakebite treatment.

With sufficient notice, the content of each show can be structured to meet your school's subject theme. Student quizzes and answer sheets along with reference material may also be provided on request.
Sing 'a' long with Steve the Snake Man
In addition to all school shows for primary schools, Steve performs songs on guitar with a fun and environmental theme that enhances the take-home experience for children. The list includes his self-composed "Reptile Walkabout" and "Snakes are our Mates".
Reptiles and Frogs make learning fun!
We offer an educational presentation tailored to the school curriculum and children's age group. These are suitable for Pre-School through to Year 7. Each show incorporates visual teaching aids and hands on activities utilising props such as fossils, crocodile skulls, themed display boxes and the stars of the the show: "LIVE" snakes, lizards, turtles, crocodiles and frogs. Children are allowed to gently touch reptiles throughout the show with a focus on animal welfare, safety and hygiene.

Please note: prices increase depending on your location and expected number of children attending, whereby additional fees and toll/travel expenses will be incurred.

Venue NEEDS Shows can be performed in your classroom or school hall. A maximum of 60 students is recommended per session. Children are organised in a half circle to allow full view of the presentation. Access to electrical power is required for audio material.
