Fete’s, fairs & functions

See the Show – Song medley and video of one of our many events. This one filmed at The Mean Fiddler family fun day at Rouse Hill.

Whatever the occasion Walkabout Reptiles has the right display to entertain your audience.

We have two styles of shows we perform, with the ‘Meet and greet’ best suiting a transient audience, or our musical show/ presentation being better utilised as a focal point event for the day. (Nearby parking and a shaded or covered area is required for both styles of show. For larger events we require access for our hands free microphone and acoustic guitar (and stage if necessary).

Please note: Additional toll/travel fees may be charged depending on your events location.

We are also able to combine both styles of show if required.

SHOW STYLES & CONTENT

WALKABOUT PRESENTATIONS AND/OR MUSICAL REPTILE SHOWS

A Walkabout Reptiles Show is designed to be fun but educational, suitable for little kids and big kids alike, in any type of venue with audiences from 20 to 120 people.  The show runs approximately 1 hour and features a young salt-water crocodile, a 2 metre python, a number of other snakes and lizards as well as a turtle, a frog and a selection of reptile fossils and skeletal replicas.  Children are invited to sit around the front of the presentation area so they can see and touch the animals throughout the show and volunteers are invited up to hold the animals.  We will also perform some of our best-loved sing-along songs on guitar during this show, depending on your preference.  The children will be entertained while they learn a thing or two about our amazing animals, their environment and the importance of conservation.  (The Musical show is recommended for 0 -10 year olds – we can also provide the same presentation without music which suits all ages).

MEET & GREET DISPLAYS

When providing this style of display we require a shaded

THANK YOU FOR BRINGING THE REPTILES TO ME!

Good Afternoon Steve

I hope you had a lovely weekend.

The evaluation forms all came back last week with fantastic comments. All the parents were thrilled with the way you worked with their children, once they went home it was all over face book within half an hour!! Great publicity for you & me!

One child wrote THANK YOU FOR BRINGING THE REPTILES TO ME! One Parent wrote that you interacted with the children so well & really connected with them!!! Lots of people wrote that it was FANTASTIC!!

I thought you might like to hear the feedback as it put a smile on my face reading it.

Overall I would have to say you did a really great job & we will probably have to get you back again next year by popular demand!!

Many Thanks
Christine
